Your Right to Data Deletion

At PostPulse, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your data from our systems.

For Registered Users

If you have an account with us, you can delete your account and all associated data at any time by:

  1. Logging into your account
  2. Navigating to Settings
  3. Scrolling down to the "Danger Zone" section
  4. Clicking the "DELETE ACCOUNT" button

When you delete your account, we will:

  • Disconnect all associated social media accounts
  • Cancel all scheduled posts
  • Delete all your data including media files
  • Automatically cancel your subscription
Log In to Delete Your Account

For Non-Registered Users or Unable to Log In

If you don't have an account or are unable to log in, but believe we may have your data, you can request deletion by:

  1. Sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  2. Including the following information in your email:
    • The email address associated with your data
    • Any social media accounts you may have connected to our service
    • A brief description of your relationship with our service

We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

Meta Data Deletion Requirements

This data deletion mechanism is provided in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms, which require apps that access user data through Meta's platforms to provide a way for users to request deletion of their data.

If you used Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) to log in to our service or connected these accounts to PostPulse, you can use the methods described above to request deletion of any data we may have collected through these platforms.

Data Retention After Deletion

After you delete your account or request data deletion:

  • We will permanently delete your personal data from our active systems within 30 days
  • Some information may remain in our backup systems for up to 90 days
  • We may retain certain data in anonymized form for analytics purposes
  • We may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as fraud prevention
